From the young age of 10, Vince immersed himself in the world of music. He sang doo-wop, harmonized, and played guitar, drums, bass, and trumpet. By age 15, he was performing with the legendary Albert King Blues Band and collaborating with jazz virtuoso David Hines in ensembles that earned him recognition in DownBeat Magazine—an extraordinary achievement for such a young musician in a pre-Internet era.

Over the years, Vince has shared stages with an extraordinary lineup of musical legends. He has opened for maestro Barry White, Gladys Knight and the Pips, War, Curtis Mayfield, Jane L. Powell, saxophonist Grover Washington Jr., Kiss, George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic, vibraharpist Gerry Burton, the Allman Brothers Band, the J. Geils Band, Carly Simon, Don and Alecia Cunningham, Theo Peoples of the Four Tops, Howlin' Wolf, and Ike & Tina Turner.
